Terms and Conditions
ICTC is an adult recreational performing arts workshop centered on creative play, music, movement, and collaborative performance. Camp activities are designed for artistic expression and community engagement in a non-therapeutic, non-clinical environment. While participants may experience meaningful personal reflection through creative work, ICTC is not a counseling, therapy, or medical program.
Â
1. ADULTS ONLY / ELIGIBILITY
ICTC is an adults-only program. All participants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of registration and on or before the first day of camp. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older at the time of registration and will be at least 18 years of age on or before the first day of camp. ICTC reserves the right to deny participation or cancel a registration, without refund, if it determines that a participant does not meet this eligibility requirement.
Â
2. REGISTRATION, RESCHEDULING & TRANSFER POLICY
Each camp registration reserves a place in a limited-capacity creative experience that requires significant advance planning, staffing, and venue commitments.
ALL CAMP REGISTRATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
If your plans change, please contact ICTC by email only at [email protected] to request a transfer to another ICTC camp or to have your payment held as future camp credit. To ensure your request can be properly processed, all communications must be submitted through this email address; other forms of communication will not satisfy the requirements outlined here. All requests remain subject to the terms, guidelines, and timelines below.
- 61+ Days Before Camp
- Transfer — no fee
- 60–31 Days Before Camp
- Transfers allowed — $50 rescheduling fee, to be paid at the time of request to preserve transfer eligibility.*
- 30 Days or Less Before Camp
- Transfers allowed — $100 rescheduling fee, to be paid at the time of request to preserve transfer eligibility.*
- First Day of Camp or Later
- Once camp has begun, our team has already committed staffing, facilities, and program resources. For that reason, payments are non-refundable and rescheduling is not available after the first day of camp, regardless of the circumstances.
*If the rescheduling fee is not paid at the time of request, the transfer cannot be completed and the original registration will remain subject to the camp’s non-refund policy.
How Transfers Work
- Transfers may be used one (1) time only.
- You may switch to another ICTC camp, subject to availability and operational approval.
- If the newly transferred camp costs more, the difference must be paid immediately at the time of transfer.
- A rescheduling fee may apply, dependent on the time window as outlined above, to be paid immediately at the time of transfer.
- All changes must support safety, group balance, and the overall camp experience as determined by ICTC staff.
Subject to the Transfer rules above, ICTC offers a Camp Credit Option if you cannot attend and prefer to decide later on future attendance. The rules related to the Camp Credit Option are as follows:
- Your payment may stay on file as camp credit valid for one (1) year from the original camp start date.
- It is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact ICTC when ready to reschedule.
- Camps may fill up, and placement is not guaranteed.
- Future camps may not be offered in the same city of original registration.
- Price differences may occur. See Transfer rules.Â
- Credits expire one (1) year from the original camp start date to allow responsible program planning.
ADDITIONAL TRANSFER TERMS
- Registrations may be rescheduled one (1) time only. If you cannot attend the rescheduled camp, your administrative rescheduling fee will be forfeited.Â
EVENT CANCELLATION BY ICTCÂ
In the unlikely event that ICTC must postpone or cancel a camp due to circumstances outside of its control, participants will have the option to attend a future camp or receive a full refund issued within ten (10) business days.
Â
3. COMMUNITY EXPECTATIONS & SHARED RESPONSIBILITY
ICTC is committed to creating a supportive, creative, and inclusive environment where adults from many backgrounds, beliefs, and life experiences come together through play and performance. Participants agree to:
- Arrive on time and remain present for scheduled camp activities unless prior arrangements are approved
- Engage respectfully with fellow participants, staff, and the creative process
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental group atmosphere
PRESENCE, WELLBEING & SUBSTANCE-FREE ENVIRONMENT
ICTC is designed as an immersive creative experience grounded in authentic presence, emotional safety, and meaningful connection. To support a space where participants can feel fully engaged, respected, and supported, all camp programming is maintained as a substance-free environment. Participants agree to:
- Arrive and participate in camp activities free from the influence of alcohol or any drugs or substances that materially alter awareness, presence, judgment, or interpersonal interaction.
- Refrain from possessing, using, distributing, or being under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs anywhere on camp premises or during scheduled ICTC programming.
- Honor that this expectation exists not as punishment or judgment, but as a shared commitment to collective safety, emotional clarity, and the integrity of the creative process
ICTC recognizes that individuals come from many walks of life and maintains a culture of compassion and respect. Participants who take prescribed medications or who have private health needs are encouraged to do so responsibly and in a manner that does not disrupt the safety or well-being of the group environment. Failure to adhere to these expectations may result in removal from programming at ICTC’s sole discretion in order to preserve a safe and supportive space for all participants.
DIVERSITY OF EXPRESSION & VIEWPOINTS
ICTC welcomes individuals from diverse cultures, identities, and perspectives. Because camp brings together people with different backgrounds and forms of self-expression — including clothing, artistic choices, personal viewpoints, or cultural identity — participants acknowledge that they may encounter ideas, expressions, or perspectives that differ from their own.
Feeling discomfort or disagreement does not, by itself, constitute harassment or a violation of these Terms. Participants are expected to engage respectfully and to allow space for differing viewpoints so long as behavior remains lawful and non-harassing.
ZERO TOLERANCE FOR HARASSMENT OR THREATS
ICTC does not tolerate conduct that is unlawful, discriminatory, threatening, or that materially disrupts the safety of the group environment. ICTC reserves sole discretion to remove any participant whose conduct poses a risk to the wellbeing of others or to the integrity of the camp experience. Removal for violation of these expectations will result in forfeiture of participation without refund.
LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY
ICTC provides a structured environment but cannot control or guarantee the personal opinions, speech, or self-expression of individual participants. By attending, participants acknowledge that interactions with others are part of a shared community experience.
Â
4. PHOTO, VIDEO & MEDIA RELEASE
ICTC is a highly creative, performance-based experience. Photography, video recording, and audio capture WILL occur throughout camp, including during group activities, performances, and candid moments. ICTC aims to represent participants respectfully and in alignment with the spirit of the camp experience.Â
By participating, you grant ICTC and its authorized representatives the irrevocable right and permission to photograph, record, and use your image, likeness, voice, performance, and participation in any media format now known or later developed.
EXAMPLES OF PERMITTED USES
Your likeness may be used for:
- Social media posts and promotional reels
- Marketing materials and advertisements
- Email communications and newsletters
- Website content and future camp promotions
- Educational or documentary-style storytelling about the ICTC experience
No compensation will be provided for use of your likeness.
GROUP ENVIRONMENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Participants who have specific privacy concerns are encouraged to communicate with ICTC prior to camp so that reasonable accommodations may be considered, though exclusion from all media cannot be guaranteed.
Because camp activities take place in a group setting, ICTC cannot guarantee that any individual participant will be excluded from photos or videos captured in shared spaces. Attendance constitutes acknowledgment that incidental inclusion in media may occur.
CONTENT OWNERSHIP
All photographs, recordings, and creative media produced during camp are the sole property of ICTC.
Â
5. HEALTH & WELLBEING
ILLNESS & ATTENDANCE
Participants agree not to attend camp if experiencing fever, flu-like symptoms, or other contagious illness. ICTC reserves the right to ask visibly unwell participants to leave to protect the group environment.
GROUP SETTING ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Camp involves close interaction, including singing, movement, and collaborative activities. Participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with group environments.
LIABILITY
Participation is voluntary. To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants assume responsibility for their own well-being during camp activities.
6. IP, CONFIDENTIALITY & RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION
A. Intellectual Property
All camp materials, exercises, program concepts, and branding remain the exclusive property of ICTC and may not be copied, reproduced, or used to create competing programs without written permission.
B. Confidentiality
To maintain a safe and supportive environment, participants agree to respect the privacy of others and keep shared personal experiences confidential.
C. Respectful Communication
Participants agree not to make knowingly false or misleading statements intended to harm ICTC or its community while remaining free to share honest opinions or report unlawful conduct.
D. Remedies
ICTC may pursue appropriate legal remedies if these agreements are violated.
E. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Â
7. WELLBEING, PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY & EXPERIENCE DISCLAIMER
ICTC is a creative, community-centered experience designed to encourage play, expression, and connection. While facilitators may guide reflective exercises, movement, performance, or group discussion, they are not therapists, psychologists, or licensed mental health professionals, and camp activities are not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment.
Activities may involve creativity, self-reflection, storytelling, and emotional expression. Participants understand that individuals may experience a wide range of feelings — including strong or intense emotional reactions — during artistic or group-based experiences. Each participant remains fully responsible for their own emotional, physical, and mental well-being at all times.
PERSONAL AWARENESS & SUPPORT
Participants agree to monitor their own comfort level and to step back from any activity that feels overwhelming, unsafe, or inappropriate for them. If at any time a participant believes they may need medical attention or emergency support, they should immediately alert an ICTC counselor or staff member. Upon request, staff will assist in contacting emergency services (911) or appropriate medical support; however, ICTC does not provide medical or clinical intervention onsite.
By attending, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Participation is voluntary and self-directed.
- You are responsible for setting your own personal boundaries and choosing how deeply to engage in any activity.
- ICTC does not provide clinical support, crisis intervention, or mental health treatment.
NO GUARANTEES OF OUTCOME
ICTC makes no guarantees regarding personal growth, emotional breakthroughs, healing, transformation, or any specific life outcome. Experiences will vary for each participant.
FIT FOR PARTICIPATION
By registering, you confirm that you feel able to participate safely in a group-based creative environment and that you will seek professional support outside of camp if therapeutic or medical care is needed.
LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ICTC and its facilitators are not responsible for participants’ personal interpretations, emotional responses, or decisions made during or after camp participation.
Our goal is always to create a supportive and respectful environment — while honoring that each participant’s journey and wellbeing ultimately remain their own.
